Bibi Platter

Hand turned on a lathe machine, the Bibi Plater is made using responsibly and locally sourced sheesham or Indian Rosewood (Dalbergia sissoo) which is seasoned over a period of time using traditional methods. The piece is hand turned on a lathe machine before the artisans scoops out the bowl form and other details.  The raw piece is then sanded and polished using an edible linseed oil before it is left to dry naturally.
