Olive Boat

Made entirely by hand using a single piece of responsibly and locally sourced sheesham or Indian Rosewood (Dalbergia sissoo), the Olive Boat is a great way to serve olives and nuts.  Once completed the craftsperson begins gently engraving and scooping out the patterns using hand tools, slowly drawing out the natural beauty of the grain. The raw piece is then sanded and polished using an edible linseed oil before it is left to dry naturally. Each piece is worked on over a period of days.

Use the Olive Boat to serve berries and nuts for an evening with friends.
